Writer, Educator, Empath My writing delves into the gritty, vulnerable, and flawed characters who live right next to us all.

I am deeply grateful to my parents, both avid readers, who instilled a love of books in my siblings and me. This passion sparked my early interest in writing.
For decades, I’ve dedicated myself to education as a teacher, coach, and administrator. Returning to school to earn my doctorate honed my ability to research, write, and defend a dissertation. As I’ve confided in my writing coaches, I feel an overwhelming urge to let the dam break and write the screenplays that have long played in the theater of my mind.
"Surrender in Tucson" is my debut screenplay. While it is not my personal story—though I have experienced the loss of a wife to mental illness—it explores themes we all know: love, loss, and the strength to persevere. We don’t navigate these challenges alone; it’s the special people who show up for us that truly make a difference.
My writing dives into the gritty, vulnerable, and flawed characters that surround us. My aim is to bring these stories from the theater of my mind to one in your neighborhood.
Thanks for visiting!

Penitentiary
In 1898, a runaway 14-year-old from Toronto reinvents himself as a cowboy, rises to sheriff in Montana, and ultimately becomes warden of the territorial prison—carving out a legacy of law, grit, and self-made justice on the American frontier.

Brothers Revenge
After years of simmering rage, two middle aged brothers impose brutal revenge on the men who violated their children—but as a relentless detective closes in, his pursuit takes a dark turn when tragedy strikes his own family, forcing all three men to confront the cost of vengeance and what remains of their souls.

Last Will
When three matriarchs from three interlinked families die within months of each other, their sudden absence ignites feuds over money, legacy, and long-buried resentments. As chaos unfolds, only one person—uniquely connected to all three families—holds the insight to confront the past and offer a path toward resolution, though not every wound is willing to heal.
